I have been a violin teacher for over 30 years - a former student of Paul Makanovitsky, Ivan Galamian, Lorand Fenyves, Sydney Harth and a teaching assistant to Mauricio Fuks at McGill University (he assumed Joseph Gingold's position at the University of Indiana in Bloomington). It was while studying at the Meadowmount School of Music in upstate New York (Galamian's summer music camp) years ago that I had the idea for these cards and made the first hand-made set. Since then I have taught hundreds of students, both privately and in group classes, and currently conduct three youth orchestras and run a music conservatory with nearly 1000 students. The cards work fantastically for nearly all violinists from young beginners to advanced players.
