Viktor Prokopenya has numerous qualifications in different fields. He began his education at Belarusian State University, Law School, and continued it at Belarusian State University of Science and Radioelectronics with a Software Development degree. Later on, Viktor moved forward with international education, obtaining MBA at Kozminski University in Warsaw, studied Online Marketing at Full Sail University in Florida and executive courses at Stanford University in California. Viktor is now studying for his PhD at Swiss Business School.
Career
Viktor Prokopenya is an IT entrepreneur, financial and investment expert as well as software development engineer. Today Viktor runs his investment company, VP Capital, that serves as a global platform for investments in the technology and real estate sector.
Earlier, in 2012, Viktor launched exp(capital), a market-making company famous for its top-notch algorithmic trading solutions. In 2014 exp(capital) was ranked one of the top 15 start-ups in Belarus. Operating as an international fintech company, exp(capital) employs 70+ specialists and has offices in Limassol, London and Minsk.
The jumpstart of his career was in 2001 when Viktor founded Viaden Media, a mobile apps development company that gained popularity for its fitness and gaming applications. Popular among 40 million users around the world, Viaden games are among the most downloaded gaming apps in App Store. Viktor sold the company in 2012.
