- Venkateswara Training Institute of Vetri Coaching Centre was started in the year 2000 with the sole objective of lifting the downtrodden in the field of Education and to lead them to a bright future with a commitment to train the students to face entrance test of professional courses. It helped to secure seats for hundreds of students in professional colleges. Right from its inception ‘Vetri’ has produced 10-16 Jipmerians every year. Selvan R. Srinivasa Raghavan of Vetri Coaching centre made history by securing the First Rank at the All India Level in JIPMER Entrance test in 2003. All these years and this year(2007) also, Vetri students got the first rank in Jipmer, under the Pondicherry state category. It is noteworthy to observe that Vetri students got the first rank in CENTAC, Pondicherry continuously for many years.
