The Veterinary Research Council's Board of Directors is composed of pioneers in the holistic veterinary medical field. Their role is to establish the policies and petition process for conducting the research studies. The following veterinarians are VRC board members: Jean Dodds, Nancy Scanlan, Joyce Harman and Susan Wynn. Dr. W. Jean Dodds is a leader in canine immunology research. In 1986, she established Hemopet, the first non-profiit national blood bank program for animals.
