Version City Studio waas started in 1997 after Beavis & Butthead paid off King Django (many special thanks to Tim Armstrong and Rancid) for his nun-on-the-bus trombone solo. Until 2001 the studio was located on East Third Street in NYC. Over the years many bands and artists have passed through. Tons of reggae, rocksteady and ska tracks and many complete albums were recorded at the original hideout of the NYC Ska Mob.
