Founded in 1994 and based out of Austin, Texas, VersaSuite is an alias for the company’s official name, Universal Software Solutions Inc. (USSI), though USSI has been doing business as VersaSuite since the early 2000s.
VersaSuite is a user-friendly, comprehensive and enterprise level software solution developed to streamline everyday processes in the healthcare industry. Our solution runs on a modern technology stack: C++ and C# and MSFT SQL Server or Oracle. VersaSuite is the only product in the world that can run hospitals, LTACHs, FQHCs, Behavioral, and all specialty clinics (including dental and vision) in a single database. Everything in the system ties back to a single patient ID; there are no internal integrations. The product delivers a comprehensive information system for just about every major avenue of care - HIS, HR, accounting, RCM, scheduling, patient portal, HIE, EHR, CPOE, case management, LIS, RIS/PACS, Pharmacy, dietary and nutrition, materials management, and employee time clock and attendance.
As an end-to-end solution, VersaSuite offers scalable features in every module. Our resource-based scheduling accounts for all resources, equipment, beds, and staff, and can be cross-referenced to check for availability. Our Insurance Billing works with multiple clearinghouses and has extensive reporting capabilities. We offer a Hospital Information System (HIS) and this separate module helps hospitals track production, monitor and increase cash collection, and improve payor performance.
Flexibility – quite literally everything in VersaSuite is configurable. The system comes with a form designer that is capable of dynamically adding, removing, and modifying SQL tables using the application itself. Using the form designer, one can map any field from any table to any screen. You can build as many screens as you’d like without any vendor involvement.
