VentureItch.com, an online journal covering startups, online productivity tools, innovation and entrepreneurial activity, announces elevator pitch contest to assist start-ups and entrepreneurs to get exposure, creating buzz for fledgling startups.
Entrepreneurs are invited to submit elevator pitch about their startup, which will then be featured on the VentureItch.com. Elevator pitch can be submited in any format, including multimedia -- presentation, slideshow, video, flash, document files -- there is only one requirement -- it must be catchy enough to have the reader's attention. All elevator pitches will be featured on VentureItch.com, but only eight winners will qualify for free two months premium advertising slot. Commonly a few minutes' spot in a media event costs tens of thousands dollars, but this is a unique opportunity to have exposure to a crowd of tech-savvy readers at no cost. Elevator pitches will be commented, discussed and rated by readers of VentureItch.com. Postings with highest readers' rating will be reviewed by editorial board of VentureItch.com to decide the winners.
All elevator pitches will be presented to a group of angel investors looking for new prospective ventures.
In addition to exposure on VentureItch.com, contest participants will get exposure from network of affiliated sites as well as news providers and aggregators feeding from journal's RSS feed.
