- As many of you may remember, there was a tournament circuit run several years ago called "U.S. Grappling." Joe Priole played an active role in running the U.S. Grappling tournaments. Joe passed away on September 21st, 2005 of non-Hodgkins lymphoma (read Joe's story). Joe was a great grappler and a friend to many in the jiu jitsu community.
