Return to the Moon is a site that documents the information about NASA's intention to return humans to the surface of the moon. This will be a step on from the Apollo missions in the late 1960's and early 1970's. Since Apollo 17 which visited the moon in December of 1972 there has not been a human presence. NASA intends to change this in the year 2018 when it intends to send a group of astronauts back there with a view to establishing a permanent presence on the Lunar surface.
