About Cecily Sommers
Cecily Sommers is Strategic Principal of Unit 1, Inc, an innovation think tank that directs inventive solutions for organizations facing change. Sommers is the director of Unit 1's intense, experiential workshops that help leaders, teams, and organizations strategize approaches for long-term gains while meeting short-term demands. Its Brand Theater Workshops and Future Immersion Labs have been used successfully by ad agencies, software developers, retailers, historical tourism managers, restaurateurs and others. Sommers consults with leading institutions such as Best Buy, Accenture, Yahoo!, utility companies, and public policy groups to help them manage for advantage amidst certain, but unpredictable, cultural and business change.
Sommers is also Founder and President of the Push Institute, a non-profit futures think-tank based in Minneapolis, MN.
