- History of UNIGLOBE Accent Travel UNIGLOBE Accent Travel started operation in Peachtree City, Georgia in 1988 and grew steadily to become the largest travel agency in the city within three years. This position was accomplished by providing the best value for the travel dollar to our customers. UNIGLOBE Accent Travel, Inc. has been given a "Star Agency" rating every year of its operation. In 1996, UNIGLOBE Accent Travel Inc. a total quality company with a written code of ethics. was selected as the "UNIGLOBE Agency of the Year" for the Southeastern United States. This award is presented each year, to the one agency that best meets the criteria for the "ideal" travel agency, which provides outstanding quality of the product, service, professionalism, and community involvement. In 1998, Uniglobe Accent Travel, Inc. was selected as the "Small "Business of the Year" by the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce. In 1999, a second agency, located in Griffin Georgia was acquired, now known as Uniglobe Thomas Travel. It continues to follow the same footsteps as UNIGLOBE Accent Travel, Inc. with regard to Star Agency qualification, growth, and outstanding quality of product service and professionalism.
