- I started modeling because my husband wanted a nude oil painting of me for our new house. He spent some time trying to find an artist who could paint this for us. However I wasn't comfortable with posing nude for a local artist. In the end my husband found an amateur artist through a website, and started to talk to him. However he was the other side of the country, so he suggested getting some photographs depicting the pose and that he could work from those.
