Stephen H. Kirby has been the pastor of UGUMC since July of 1992. Steve is a native of Newton, NC, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in music from Gardner-Webb University, and a Master of Divinity degree from Duke University.
He is married to the former Judy R. Bost of Newton, and they have four children: Miki, Zack, Stephanie, and Rebekah.
Melinda M. Mullins has been church secretary since June of 1997. She and her husband, Jim, reside in Harmony, and are the parents of two children: Josh and Ellie.
