- At the end of 2004, my wife and I were in the process of selling our townhouse. We wanted to sell our townhouse by ourselves but it was obvious that we needed professional help on various matters such as legal advices and hardwood floor repair. Having not worked with any lawyers and hardware floor repair companies, we asked our friends and relatives for referrals. We got a referral for a real estate lawyer but we were on our own for finding a professional hardware floor repairman. We eventually turned to the yellow pages. Needless to say, it was very time consuming and difficult to find someone who was trustworthy, reputable, and competent to do the repair. There has to be a better way to find a qualified service provider!
