- Since 1992, U-TURN has successfully connected youth from Richmond, VA's inner-city and suburban neighborhoods for high-performance athletic development, team competition, fellowship events and Bible-based guidance. U-TURN's goal is to develop these youth to be highly skilled athletes and community minded citizens who champion discipline, diversity, and service to others. In 2005, U-TURN provided 47,200 hours of mentoring and training to youth. Many youth receive full or partial scholarships to play sports in college.
