My name is Ty Smith, I am a guitar teacher and am located in Naugatuck (New Haven County), Connecticut USA. I have always believed that the pursuit of any discipline in the arts stimulates the imagination, fine tunes motor skills and is generally good for the soul. Learning a musical instrument can be a wonderfully rewarding experience regardless of the style of music you pursue.
I have been playing guitar for 36 years, since I was a lad of 10, and I have been teaching for the last 26 years, offering private lessons for a very affordable price. At age 46 I still genuinely love my craft and enjoy students of all ages* and levels! Lessons are given in the comfort of my home studio or the familiar surroundings of your own living room!**
