TuneIn is a new startup focused on making Twitter feeds more multimedia. It will look like your normal Twitter stream in part, but it will also include videos and snapshots and more info about links that one's followers have posted. So you have your follower's description of it in their tweet in the normal Twitter feed as well as more info about that link or video to the right so you can make a more informed decision rather than a somewhat blind click on a condensed URL.
TuneIn.com notes itself as being in alpha and the site was launched on July 11, 2009 (although TuneIn presented at TechCrunch's RealTime CrunchUp on July 10, 2009).
