- Hi There.....My name is Barbara Gage and I'm a self representing glass bead artist from the beautiful high desert region of Central Oregon. Although I've taken a few lessons from the "pros", I am mostly self taught from books, videos, attending seminars, and from plain old trial and error. I have a planter full of those errors! This adventure into glass bead making began about eight years ago and I am continually inspired by the glass and all the wonderful colors, techniques, and designs that can be created with just a little patience and encouragement. My studio space is one complete room in our home and I'm always looking for more space to expand so that one day I can share this art with others in the form of classes.
