TMI Forest Products, Inc., formerly Tubafor Mill, Inc., was founded over 60 years ago in Morton Washington as a railroad tie mill. In those days Morton was known as the “Tie Capital of the World”. In later years the company began producing 2x4 studs for the building industry. This is how the company acquired the unique “Tubafor” name. In the late 1960’s, Tubafor Mill began manufacturing Western Red Cedar fencing material, mostly posts and rails.
