Description
The UNDP-supported Tumen River Area Development Programme provides a unique multilateral forum for the five member countries (China, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Mongolia, the Republic of Korea and the Russian Federation) to identify and implement regional initiatives that encourage economic growth and improved living standards in Northeast Asia. By focusing on regional cooperation, the Tumen Programme contributes to peace and stability in the region.
