- theSysAdmins are a small group of individuals with extensive experience in computers and the Internet. We each have over twenty years of experience working with computer systems ranging from personal computers to advanced server clusters. Our experience with the Internet goes back over fourteen years, which predates the world wide web (www) by several years. Each of us has experience running the systems for an ISP. Our founder, Dan Ringdahl, came up with the idea of starting an ISP years ago. In 1995, the company he was then working for funded this project. Making diverse systems from many manufacturers work together seamlessly enough to run a first class service was an extremely complex task. This ISP, PE.net, was a instant success and earned the parent company significant profits. In 2001, Dan left PE.net and started theSysAdmins, a computer consulting business.
