Title

Truro Churches The United Benefice of St. Paul and St. Clement and St. George and St. John

Description

In September 2003 the two former United Beneifices of St. Paul and St. Clement with St. Andrew (Malpas) and St. George and St. John were brought together under one parish priest. The four legal parish entities still remain but are now administered as one benefice.

Our four lively Parish Churches represent a cross section of Anglican tradition. St. Paul's Church, Agar Road is Anglo-Catholic and modern in tradition, St. George's in St. George's Road is orthodox traditional, St. Clement in the village of St. Clement and St. John's in Lemon Street are 'middle of the the road' Anglican. Vestments are worn in all churches and the Blessed Sacrament is reserved at St. Paul's, St. George's and St. Clement's.

Within the Benefice we have a Church of England Voluntary Aided School, Archbishop Benson, which is closely linked to St. Paul's. We also have a number of links abroad for whom we pray regularly.
