TARPAULINS: All tarps are constructed from only the highest quality polyester scrim based fabrics. A PVC coating and high-gloss acrylic topcoat further ensure unsurpassed durability and attractiveness of the Trojan Tarp systems. The tarp is reinforced from 22 to 44 oz. with a second layer of reinforcement fabric at all potential contact points with metal, including the bottom skirt, lifts and bows, significantly improving tarp life. The top of a Trojan tarp includes a skylight, while the rear flap contains an air pressure equalizing vent. The flap is operated by a crank or replaced with optional aluminum hinged barn doors. The standard weight Trojan tarp fabric is 22 oz. per sq. yard.
* Fast and easy deployment: With its quick-release tensioning systems that can be operated by one person, cargo can be accessed in minutes. This saves approximately 1 to 2 hours of loading time per load when compared to hand-tarping.

Trojan’s lightweight / high strength all-aluminum design are up to 30% lighter than that of competitors, therefore greater payloads is possible. * High quality tarps and rugged construction: Trojan systems feature heavy-duty fabrics coated with PVC and top coated with acrylic lacquer, which makes the system completely waterproof, extremely durable and easily washed. Tarp life is approximately five years. All Trojan components are constructed from transport grade aluminum extrusions. The aluminum track is designed to resist impact from forklift trucks when side loading/unloading and our track guard inserts provide total track protection.
* Lightweight: With high strength 6061 aluminum used throughout, Trojan systems are up to 30% lighter than competitors’ products, resulting in fuel savings and increased payload capacity for carriers.
* Safety: Trojan's easy roll track and quick release tensioning systems allow drivers to perform most duties from the ground, minimizing lower back injury and the danger of falling. Damage claims are also minimized, since cargo straps can be used even when the roller track is mounted directly to the side rails.
