TripWiser is a young, innovative (and, yes, "Travel 2.0") company with a great vision to improve travelers' experience in preparing and planning trips. But we don't just cater to all travelers going to all possible destinations in the world. TripWiser is a social site that offers trip planning and itinerary building and sharing capabilities to baby boomers traveling within or to the United States . We believe that baby boomers are smart and keen on planning quality trips - not just cheap ones. We believe that travel is about having fun, learning new things, making lifelong memories, and sharing experiences with others.
In reality, however, a trip can turn into a nightmare if undertaken without sufficient preparation. The trip planning process itself quickly becomes an endless search and copy-and-paste exercise when you actually try and turn other people's experiences and recommendations into your own tangible trip. So we figured there must be a better way and set about to build something new, something different and something social - all at one place. We built an intuitive online trip planning portal for baby boomers who travel within the United States . We call this new service TripWiser.com so all of us "Wisers" will have a better way to capture and share our travel knowledge (you see, the older you get, the smarter you become). We hope you will find our site useful and easy to use.
TripWiser will work with all the mainstream online services you have used or heard about: United.com, Marriot, Orbitz, Travelocity, Priceline, Hertz, Disney, Flickr, TripAdvisor and more. Our mantra, however, is to integrate these great services within the social context and make sure we don't confuse you with endless options that don't match your travel profile.
TripWiser has a great team. We are all baby boomers and all passionate about travel. We are picky and demanding and we look for great value in everything. Our team of travel and software industry veterans is passionate about creating the single best place to search, plan, and share any trip itinerary - whether it's a two-week adventure in the Wyoming Rockies or a weekend getaway in Napa Valley . We'd love to hear about your travel experiences and what we can do to improve our site.
Our service is currently in beta, this means that the software and service may change, hopefully infrequently, and that we may need to take down the service at times to tweak, maintain and improve our site. We will make every effort not to disturb or disrupt our "TripWisers."
