- The art, photography and chaos of Chip Marks ATTENTION: (Tuesday, November 14th) Dear Abnormis customers, due to circumstances beyond our control, Abnormis Hosting was targetted by a hacker through one of our reseller accounts and has unfortunately impacted our entire hosting operation. For the past few days we have been urgently working to rebuild the main DNS and mail server and restore all compromised data. We are still actively researching the issue, looking through logs and trying to determine how many other accounts have been compromised. The main server was rooted and has to be rebuilt from scratch. It's also not clear if the backup server was also compromised at this time. Abnormis Hosting is obviously not accepting any new clients, and may not again for a good while. If you are a current customer and would like to transfer your domain away from Abnormis, please send an email to dns@abnormis.net. (Wednesday, November 15th) Additionally, Abnormis has suspended processing any/all hosting invoices and will not resume until further notice. If you wish to simply cancel service and move your domain, please send email to sales@abnormis.net. Everyone can thank the lovely hacker "Jamaycka" for the problems we are currently having.
