Description
Teaching Responsible Earth Education (T.R.E.E.) is a nonprofit organization that provides hands-on life science earth education programs to children, parents and teachers in the New Orleans area. T.R.E.E. immerses children in an outdoor environment where they are engaged in exciting activities that teach them how the natural processes on the Earth work, including energy flow from the Sun, photosynthesis, air cycle, water cycle, soil cycle, interrelationships, communities, and adaptation. Currently, T.R.E.E. offers three programs that serve 4th through 8th grade students: Earthkeepers, Sunship Earth, and Sunship III.
