- Jean was born and raised near the Black Hills of South Dakota and moved to Wyoming with her husband, Niles, after graduating from Black Hills College with a degree in Business Administration. Their daughter, Shelly and her brother, Cody grew up with Yellowstone Park being their "playground." Shelly is also an avid outdoorsmen and started camping before the age of one. The family still makes time to enjoy fishing, boating, camping, hunting, skiing, snowmobiling, ATVs, riding horses and mules (Niles is what the locals call a Mule Skinner) motorcycles (we have been up to Alaska and all over the surrounding states on our Harley).
