Owner George Bourrell Jr. started Transite Heating and Air Conditioning in 1976. Like most small start-up businesses, George used his home in Cedar Lake, Indiana as his office. Through years of perseverance, a desire to succeed, and a commitment to quality, George was able to build the business to where it is today.
Transite Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. now has 14 trucks. 14 employees, and serves all of Northwest Indiana (including Lake, Porter, Jasper, and Newton counties) and south Chicago suburbs.
Headquarters (still in Cedar lake, IN) now features a large service garage and houses a 3000 square foot showroom. Here you will see everything from installed furnaces, air conditioner systems, boiler systems, fireplaces, to barbeque systems. (see products)
