The Transfiguration Parish offers a safe and joyful place for families and individuals to join in prayer, fun and entertainment. The Parish provides a nationally recognized school, Transfiguration Roman Catholic School, which offers classes from Kindergarten, Lower Elementary School as well as Upper Elementary School. The Transfiguration Church also offers a Chinese School in which adults and children can learn to speak Cantonese or learn to speak Mandarin. Parishoners participate in Family Fairs, Assumption Processions, Dinners, trips, youth groups, adult groups as well as many classes such as dancing, tai chi. As with every great parish there exists a choir in which both children and adults can learn and share in the joy of singing. The Church is a historic site founded in 1664. The church is proud to be referred to as the "Church of the Immigrants"
