- Trainagain arose out of working with LSCs, delivering skills brokerage contracts for the hospitality, tourism, culture and heritage sectors. Listening to our clients, we realised there was a need to cover all sectors and in late 2007 we began to collate information about short courses for the whole UK workforce. Since the beginning of 2008 we have been combining this data with information about business networks. Active networks, those that hold meetings are forces for change – this is their raison d’etre. Networks seek solutions otherwise they are simply clubs – a gathering of people for social purposes. Given this unique feature of networks we see the people who attend network meetings as ‘change agents’; they are responsive to change, they are open to new ideas, they are seeking solutions. They may be just the people we need to oil the wheels of supply and demand in industry training.
