The various programs which produce Texas Labor Market Information data are funded primarily by the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the U.S. Department of Labor. There are five basic programs through which LMI gathers or generates data in cooperation with the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
The Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages Program, which collects information from all Texas employers covered by the Texas Unemployment Compensation Act.
