Mt. Airy Motors was established by Fred Beuchert in 1973 as a quality general auto repair facility in Mt. Airy, Maryland. The goal of this company has been, and will continue to be, to serve the motoring public with high quality service at a fair price. High standards have been maintained by employing certified technicians and utilizing the latest equipment necessary to service today's vehicles. Total Performance is a division of Mt. Airy Motors, Inc. and caters to the growing Hi-Performance market.
The population explosion in the Mt. Airy area has brought with it a new demand for Hi-Performance and custom vehicle work. This is evidenced in the popularity of "Cruise Nights" at the local shopping center as well as the increasing attendance at the local drag strip. One has only to stand by the roadside and observe the vehicles that travel by, to realize that over 50% have some sort of modification, whether it is wheels, lights, exhaust, or radical customization.
