Description
TORRIDGE AUCTIONS was founded in 1987 by Margaret Price. Initially Sales were held in the Bideford Pannier Market on a monthly basis. However, in 1994 the present premises were bought for a permanent Auction Room with ample storage facilities where goods can easily be held until the next suitable Sale. Over the past 6 years the Saleroom has been modified and improved to give a much better layout for Sales. The slight winter chill in the Saleroom is turned to advantage in the summer when the Saleroom seems (to hundreds of prospective bidders) to be the COOLEST place in Bideford!
On 2nd January 2003 TORRIDGE AUCTIONS became a Private Limited Liability Company. This is only a name change and will not affect the service we have built our reputation on.
We are now able to have Sales whenever we wish and to take in items for Sale at almost all times. We now have a regular programme of Sales:-
