The commission serves to implement security patrols, among other duties, in addition to the services received by the City of Baton Rouge. Since becoming involved in this area, David, as well as others that own property in the Gardere area have witnessed first hand an increase of safety and appreciation as well as pride in ownership in this area. He also serves as Treasurer for the GSRI Property Owners Association which also has a high level of commitment to improving security in the Gardere area by providing credit and background checks on perspective tenants to multi-family property owners.
