Description
Vectis is divided into a series of 'pages' each centred on an Island town. At each location there are clickable 'hotspots' which lead to photos, timelines and activities linked to that location. At any point in Vectis you can save your position; have a go at quizzes based on Island history, towns and beaches or access Island Websites from within the program (Internet Explorer 4 and Internet connection required).
The Old Village - Information, photos and a clickable timeline on the major events of the nineteenth century with particular reference to the Isle of Wight.
Ventnor Cove - Information, photos, a clickable timeline on the world's geological ages and a map showing the rock structures underlying the Isle of Wight.
