Thurlestone is a village in Devon that takes its name from Thurlestone Rock, an arch-shaped formation just offshore in Thurlestone Bay. Golfing and Tennis are two sports that can be played at the Thurlestone Golf Club. The course has a mix of links and cliff-top terrain. Thurlestone receives a lot of visitors, especially during the summer months. There are two main beaches that attract a lot of people to the area: South Milton Sands and Ley's Foot.
