- Pat Chapin creates fanciful worlds to live in, populated by mermaids, fish that never swam and birds that never flew, as well as other creations that celebrate her whimsical view of life on a beach. She weaves together statements and questions in paint that may be read and answered by an onlooker, or simply enjoyed for their colour and style. Most of the water media paintings on the site may also be created as ceramic tile.
