Our Collection: We believe that art should be bought for enjoyment and sold to upgrade or enhance one's collection. Our collection is eclectic, so there should be something here to satisfy most tastes in art. We aim to serve a diverse clientele by offering a kaleidoscope of subjects and styles; periods and schools. Of special emphasis are works of English and Scottish origin, from the period 1850 to 1950.
Our Clients: In the minds of many, the purchase of fine art is only for a wealthy few. In reality, a very large percentage of fine art changes hands for under five hundred dollars with many items priced below a hundred dollars! Admittedly, quality art in the latter category is becoming increasing difficult to find, but there are still pleasant surprises. There exists in the $500 - $5,000 range a vast reservoir of quality paintings, watercolors, drawings and prints to provide enormous pleasure while, in most cases, appreciating in value with every passing year. While art shouldn't be bought for it's investment potential, wise collecting is no more risky than buying a common stock and, should one need to sell, can return an equally attractive profit.
Buying art is not necessarily about collecting! A painting can transform a room, so we should acknowledge its decorative value and appeal. Nothing adds more character and interest to a room - often at a cost far below other room furnishings! Whether you're searching for just the right accent for a corner or an object that will be the focal point for a room, we may be able to help.
