Since the early 1970's, The Third Rail Restaurant & Pub has been serving the Town of Fairlee and the Upper Valley its own special blend of great food, good spirits, and gracious service. Generations of year-round and seasonal residents as well as countless tourists have made The Third Rail their destination of choice for dinners, light fare, or just beverages and conversation.
Extensive renovations have burnished the warm atmosphere familiar to its "regulars", and an imaginative (and evolving) new menu combines the traditional Rail favorites with a wide variety of choices, from our extensive selection of bar fare and appetizers (of course the traditional Buffalo Wings leads the list) through hearty burgers and sandwiches to a broad range of fine-dining entrees -- and of course a variety of tasty home-made desserts.
