Description
The Theatre Guild of Simsbury is a non-profit organization which was formed in 1972 by a group of Simsbury residents. Our membership now extends throughout the Farmington Valley and beyond, with campaigning for new memberships year round.
Each year, in November, we present a 'Broadway' style musical at the Simsbury High School Auditorium. In addition, in the spring, we perform Actor's Workshop style Cabarets. At other times during the year, our Studio Theatre will perform plays, comedies or dramas. These shows are performed at Eno Memorial Hall.
A Board of Directors consisting of thirteen members governs TGS. These volunteers include President, Vice-president, Secretary, Treasurer and 'at large' members. Their job is to facilitate the guild in its financial, legal and technical aspects; as well as advertising and community relations.
