History
Quality Cabinetry Company was established in January 1992 by Dick Moffat and his wife, Beverly, and Davis Walker and his wife, Suzanne. The Moffats and Walkers purchased the secured assets of an existing cabinetry company and started production the 27th of January 1992. Members of both families are actively involved in the daily operations of The Woods.
Many of the experienced original employees elected to stay with the new company and become the backbone of The Woods. As our growth increased, our employee base expanded, with all employees adding their inputs and talents to help achieve the company's goals. These contributions have helped The Woods to become the established company it is today.
The new owners used their vision to set goals and directions for the company. A customer-oriented business plan led to the establishment of our Dealer Network, a major Builder Network, and an onsite "Factory Direct" showroom.
