Clyde and Connie Alho are the owners and operators of "The Rod Shop, Inc.". We've been serving customers' needs since 1996. Clyde has been an avid angler and outdoor enthusiast for his entire life. From Clyde's childhood years, learning the art of fishing and an appreciation of nature from his father on Michigan's Upper Peninsula rivers, to the present; he has fished with either fly rods, spinning rods, or casting rods over much of the United States, Labrador Canada, Quebec Canada, Ontario Canada, New Zealand, Finland and Ireland. His love of fishing and the challenge of handcrafted work has led him to custom build rods for many years. He is a member of "RodCrafter's". Clyde and Connie's custom rod work has been well received at many consumer trade shows over the years.

The Rod Shop is committed to all customers interested in custom rod ownership. Working together as partners we can design a custom rod that will be handcrafted to your personal desires and specifications at a fair price.
