About Us
Hi, my name is Carolyn and I started The Red Thread Trading Company in August 2003. The name for my company is taken from an ancient Chinese proverb; An invisible red thread connects those destined to be together. It may stretch or bend, but never break. As you can see from the photo, I am the lucky mom to two adorable children, both born in China, and virtual twins being only 3 days difference in age.
I strive to find high quality items for the lowest price possible and support Love Without Boundaries, who in turn helps those children not yet ready for adoption in China. Last year, with the help of my loyal customers, I sponsored the surgery for a childs cleft palate to be repaired. Such a surgery will change a childs life forever.
