The Plains Trading Company was conceived by a group of women who are passionate about textiles. They saw their venture as a way to help crafts people in Argentina develop a market for their products while providing shoppers in the United States a source for exceptional home accents.
Armed with extensive experience in retail buying and interior design, they launched the company in 2003 with an exquisite line of llama and wool throws procured directly from the source. In the near future, they plan to add more products to their line.
