Description
On June 24, 1981 in a remote village across the world, events unfolded and the lives of many millions would never be the same from that day on.
It is reported that on June 24, 1981 six youth from an area of the former Yugoslavia, called Medjugorje, saw a vision of a woman they believed to be the �Gospa�, the Mother of God. On June 25th she again appeared and this time she identified herself as the Queen of Peace. Since that day over 20 years ago, she has continued to visit the earth and give a message of peace for the world. The mission of The MIR Group is to disseminate this message.
On October 13, 1987 a group of business men and women, under the spiritual guidance of two local priests and a priest from Medjugorje, came together and formed The MIR Group. Its purpose, then and now, is to share the message of Our Lady, which she promises will bring peace to the world. It�s a simple formula. Prayer, fasting, reconciliation, conversion equals PEACE. If one prays daily, particularly the rosary and attends Holy Mass; makes the sacrifice to fast on bread and water on one or two days of the week; sincerely works on reconciling themselves with God and others; and converts their lives over to God, then peace will surely be attained.
