Carol has been taking care of this wonderful bed and breakfast since her husband (Mark) passed away, July of 2003. Carol has learned much from the years she lived off the land and has much to share with everyone that joins her at The Listening Inn.
As of June 11 2005 Carol and Leslie Kufahl have been married! Things are doing great at the inn, Leslie is settleing in well. He 's soon to get into the woods,as hunting season approches to look for that huge Iron Co. buck! Leslie is an avid Blackpower hunter, he enjoys sharing his knowlodge of years gone by. He also enjoys snowshoeing and xc-sking ,He will be adding more ski and snowshoe trails through out the year.
Carol and her husband (Mark) have been lured to nature's outdoor adventures for a long time. They moved to Upper Michigan in the 70's leading a remote life in a scratch built cabin on the banks of the Paint River. The goal was to be as self-sufficient as possible living off the land.
