- Rainbow House is an initiative by a local mother of two disabled children, who have a rare genetic life threatening disorder disabling them for life. The initiative was to help others in similar circumstances to herself within the South Ribble community and North West Region. However Rainbow House now has three services helping children throughout the UK. It was founded to help families and children with neurological disorders. Rainbow House offers them a regime known as Conductive Education which helps to teach the child life rendering techniques in order for them to live a more sustain able and independent life within their communities. Rainbow House is NOT an area of “EDUCATION” in terms that we normally relate this word to, we receive NO statutory funding in any way.
