- About The Heat
- The Heat Baseball Club was formed in August of 2002 and still has its roots in the North Augusta/Belvedere area of South Carolina. The team was initally called the "Belvedere Heat", a carry-over name from Coach Butler's traveling team that played out of the Belvedere area. However, today the team only has three of the original members of the Belvedere Heat on its team; therefore, they changed their name to "The Heat".
