- Green Zebra was conceived by two long-time friends. We were looking to embrace a lifestyle that promoted the health of our families, community, and planet. Like many people, we found ourselves so busy that we were operating based on convenience, rather than a conscious decision-making process. One day we realized it was time to slow down and start asking questions about the way we were living our lives. While researching our options we learned a lot, and met wonderful people who contribute to the unique character of San Francisco. We became inspired to try to play a role in preserving the city’s livability, and to help make San Francisco greener in the process.
