Typically at the club, we will display women's apparel for 2-3 weeks and at that point, that which hasn't sold, we will show on The Golfcellar at a heavily discounted price (Sometimes up to 75% off normal selling price). We benefit by moving merchandise that has run it's course at the club and you, the customer, benefit by getting top line quality product at a great price. Being a Golf Professional, I also have available to us, saleperson display product, manufacturer closeouts and discontinued product that we can sell at riduculously low prices.
All year, while having members "demo" clubs, the typical club pro ends up with quite a few "used or demoed" clubs. We hopefully have solved that problem by allowing clubs to be demoed a few times and then selling them on The Golfcellar Site, again, at a substantial discount while they are still in excellent condition. Again, as you can see, both you and we benefit from this. We have always tried to describe golf clubs with maybe more wear and tear than there actually is. This policy has also afforded us the ability to sell trade in clubs from members at great prices throughout the year.
